  • Consultation

    Is speech therapy right for my child?

    A 15 minute free consultation gives you the opportunity to get your questions answered and share why you are seeking out speech therapy!

  • Evaluations

    Evaluations offer an opportunity to identify strengths and challenges, which will guide the therapeutic process. During the evaluation, building a connection with your child is a priority- to get a true look at their interests, strengths and support needs!

    Comprehensive evaluations may include:

    • Parent interview/questionnaires

    • Review of past assessment/IEP/Treatment Plan

    • Speech/Language Sample Collection & Analysis

    • Home video review (if provided)

    • Informal and formal measures (standardized assessments are only used if appropriate)

    A written evaluation report will be shared and reviewed with you to create a plan for therapy services.

  • Therapy

    Direct speech and language services can be in-home or virtual. I am passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practices and child-led therapy. I always prioritize connection and regulation for all clients I support.

Meet Chelsea!

She is a speech and language pathologist certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed in Connecticut. She completed her Masters of Science program at Worcester State University and has practiced in a variety of settings including private practice, schools and early intervention. Her clinical experience consists of diagnosing and treating individuals who present with receptive and expressive language or speech sound disorders, developmental delays, or social language disorders.

She specializes in early language development, speech sound disorders, including articulation, phonological, and childhood apraxia of speech, and gestalt language processing.

Advanced Trainings/Certifications:

  • NLA-Trained Clinician through Meaningful Speech

  • Sensory Trained SLP through the Inside Out Program

  • Diagnosis and Treatment of CAS Using Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) by Dr. Edythe Strand

Chelsea offers in home services in the following Connecticut towns: Bristol, Plainville, Burlington, Southington, and Farmington. She also offers virtual speech therapy or consultation services across the state of CT.
